Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve mixing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Checking in hotel guests and dealing with room enquiries Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and tidying up workspaces. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Skills

Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions efficiently. Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
