Job Overview


We are seeking a responsible and motivated individual to join our team as a Bartender at Hallow Sports & Social Club. This role goes beyond traditional bar duties, involving leadership responsibilities, stock management, and supporting the wider community through events and communications.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing bar stock, and supporting the planning and promotion of events.

Key Responsibilities

- Completing a weekly shop and ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained - preferred not essential

- Creating a monthly newsletter to promote the bar and upcoming events

- Assisting with stock rotation and restocking the bar

- Carrying out stock takes over a two-week cycle, including counting and measuring products to ensure minimal waste and unrecorded losses

- Working with the planning committee to help organise and deliver events

- Opening and locking up the facility in line with company procedures

- Setting up and preparing the bar ahead of service

- Greeting customers, taking orders, and serving drinks to a high standard

- Handling cash and card transactions accurately

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area

- Following health, safety, and hygiene standards

- Supporting and working with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Experience:

Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
