We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves delivering excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring our members and guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential but all training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for personal development within our vibrant venue.
Responsibilities
Serve beverages and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and wider club at all times
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Engage with members & guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills during peak hours
Monitor and manage bar inventory, including assisting with ordering and receiving deliveries
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
Barista expreience preferred but not essitial
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently under pressure
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and carrying out cashing up procedures accurately
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Cooking experience advantageous but not essential
A positive approach towards learning new skills and adhering to health and safety standards
Must be 18 years or older and available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
