Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for bartending and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and building, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding the menu. Ensure compliance with regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time efficiently to maintain prompt service during peak hours.

Requirements

Applicants must be aged 18 or over. Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, fostering a friendly atmosphere. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service. Due to late finishing times, this role is best suited to applicants who live locally or have access to their own transport.
