Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to basic maths principles. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure compliance with licensing laws and health regulations. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong bartending skills with knowledge of drink preparation techniques is advantageous. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Effective time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.03-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
