Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, and supporting the overall operation of the venue. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for career development within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glasses and restocking supplies Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety certification, or restaurant work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Ability to work well under pressure during busy hours Excellent communication skills and a personable attitude towards guests A responsible approach to health and safety standards, including alcohol service regulations
