Responsibilities

Serve drinks and refreshments efficiently and courteously to customers Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times Assist in preparing garnishes and maintaining stock levels of beverages and supplies Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events Adhere to health and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Good time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities Previous restaurant or bar experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
