Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous experience in a bar is ESSENTIAL. Applicants MUST be able to work evenings and weekends as required on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in line with regulations Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any needs or concerns Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts Follow responsible serving practices to promote safety and minimise alcohol-related issues

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is advantageous Good understanding of food safety standards and procedures Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Excellent time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Personable nature with strong communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
