Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness and cashing up. Previous experience in a bar setting is essential, however training will be provided. A friendly attitude, good time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for this role.

Duties

- Ensure that you are welcoming customers at the bar area.

- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

- Checking customers identification and age verification.

- Handling cash and card payments.

- Engaging with customers and advising them about any promotions that are ongoing.

- Maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

- Respond to and clean any spillages.

- Monitor and replenish stock levels as and when required.

- Clearing tables and Wiping surfaces.

- Collecting glassware.

- Operate dishwasher to ensure glassware is always available.

- To always follow Health and Safety guidelines.

- Sweeping patio area and entrance ways

- Emptying bins

- Reporting any damages/concerns to the Committee

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, bar setting is essential Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high standards of service Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
