Bar Staff

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a lively and dynamic environment. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and courteously to customers Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring patrons' behaviour and adhering to licensing laws Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Engage with customers to create a friendly, welcoming environment Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
