Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated bar staff to form a new, high-performing front-of-house team at Dusk & Dawn. Various shifts with an average of 16 hours per week are available.

We are all about customer experience, which means going above and beyond to ensure our customers have a fantastic experience every time they visit us. As a team member, you will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving drinks and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism and food safety. The environment is fast-paced, and you must be able to work calmly and maintain service levels at all times.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following our standardised recipes and procedures. Provide above-and-beyond service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring the highest satisfaction levels. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards. Manage your time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with your team members to ensure seamless service during events or busy shifts. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Experience

Previous bar experience is a bonus for this role. However, if you do not have prior experience but exhibit a strong positive attitude, a passion for customer service, and a willingness to learn, we would still like to hear from you. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers professionally. You must have strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. An outgoing, positive attitude and willingness to help customers and colleagues are the most important and non-negotiable traits for this role.
