Job Description
The Park Place is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to work behind the bar and complete associated tasks on a permanent basis on the evenings and weekends. We are seeking a candidate who is able to work more than 16 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to start out in hospitality or to continue your career in a friendly and community-based atmosphere.
A competitive hourly pay will be available which is always above minimum wage.
Essential Requirements.
To be legally allowed to work within the United Kingdom. To have no unspent convictions. To be able to read and communicate in English. To be consistently available to work for a majority of the evenings of the working week (including those with bank holidays) and at least one day of either Saturday or Sunday. To be consistently available to work for more than 16 hours per week.
Desirable Requirements.
To be able to communicate in Welsh. To have worked previous or currently in the hospitality industry. To be available for fulltime equivalent work during the evenings and weekends.
Job Role.
To serve customers in a timely manner whilst following the laws and regulations associated with the serving of alcohol and other products. To complete all tasks allocated to the staff member by the manager during a shift and inform the manager of any reasons why tasks have not been completed. To conduct good customer service including communicating with customers attending the bar. To communicate to the manager any issues faced while on shift in a timely manner. To follow the Staff Handbook and any policies and procedures of the Park Place.
