We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Monitor customer consumption levels and ensure responsible service of alcohol. Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and restocking as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Bartending experience is a plus, with an understanding of drink preparation techniques. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions effectively. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
