Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met. Assist with food preparation and service as required, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including bathrooms. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills. Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours. A willingness to learn about culinary offerings and drink pairings is beneficial.
