Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving drinks, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a memorable experience for every customer.

Bar and/or Front of House staff wanted for shifts throughout the week primarily days. Evening/Weekends also required.

The Bird in hand is a busy independent pub with a large bar and snug area, two restaurants, and a beautiful outdoor sitting area.

Due to the continuous expansion we have a number of vacancies for Front of House and Bar Staff.

Pay will reflect experience. Starting at National Minimum Wage for the relevant age Group

Duties

Serve beverages and food items in a timely and courteous manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the area you are working in. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations as needed. Handle cash transactions and manage the till. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every customer feels valued and welcomed. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
