Bar Staff

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, with experience in food service, and customer interaction. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area. Previous experience in restaurant, catering, or banquet settings is highly valued, along with a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to health and safety standards Assist with food preparation as needed, including garnishing drinks or handling light food service tasks Manage cash register operations and process payments accurately Restock bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service during shifts Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for guests Handle guest inquiries professionally, addressing any concerns promptly

Requirements

Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, barista, catering, or banquet service is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to legal drinking age regulations Experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Basic knowledge of food preparation and beverage presentation techniques is desirable

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
