Job Description

Weeke Social Club is looking for bar staff to join our expanding team.

The social club is a members only bar, operating 7 days a week. The Social Club also provides a bar service to function bookings for the Community centre.

Duties to include but not limited to:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and serve drinks promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other heath and safety hazards.

- Cleaning tables, wiping surfaces and operating the dishwasher to ensure ample glassware is available
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service

- help with set up for functions and hall hires - to include set up and pack up of furniture sets up and equipment

- to move and set up barrels ready for tapping and service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years old
