Bar Staff
Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare beverages according to recipes and specifications
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food preparation and order accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling abilities to promote additional food and beverage items
- Knowledge of kitchen operations for collaboration with kitchen staff
- Food preparation skills for garnishing drinks or preparing simple dishes
- Excellent guest services skills to provide a positive customer experience
- Culinary knowledge to answer customer questions about menu items
