Overview

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests to provide outstanding service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods. Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products and service techniques.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle busy shifts. Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. A culinary background or interest in food preparation is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.40-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
