We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. You will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of service in line with our culinary offerings.
Duties
Lead and supervise the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Develop and implement training programmes for staff on beverage preparation, service techniques, and hospitality best practices.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that complement our menu offerings.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary while minimising waste.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly to enhance their experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and new products to continually improve the bar's offerings.
Experience
Previous experience in a bar management role within a hotel or restaurant setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising teams effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation is required.
A background in culinary arts or hospitality management would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both staff and customers are crucial for success in this role.
