We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen understanding of food and beverage management. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the bar team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and implement innovative beverage menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with culinary guidelines. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock while minimising waste. Train staff on cocktail preparation, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create harmonious pairings between food and drinks. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in a bar management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or restaurants. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Knowledge of culinary practices, food production techniques, and food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for guests.
