Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting excellent customer service. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and regulations in food preparation areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor financial performance of the bar, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending or bar management within a hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food production processes and food safety standards. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is advantageous but not essential. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
