Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Support the Bar Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, leading by example and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service.

Cocktail Quality & Consistency:

Prepare and serve a wide range of classic and signature cocktails, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Train and mentor bartenders to maintain high standards.

Guest Experience:

Deliver warm, professional, and engaging service that creates memorable guest experiences. Resolve any issues promptly and effectively.

Bar Operations:

Ensure the bar is always clean, organised, and fully stocked. Uphold health and safety standards, manage inventory, and support ordering and stock rotation.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with management, floor staff, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service and smooth shift operations.

Upselling & Sales:

Drive revenue by encouraging guests to try new cocktails, premium spirits, or specials. Monitor sales performance and support promotional activities.

Training & Development:

Help onboard new team members and contribute to ongoing staff training, sharing your knowledge and encouraging growth within the team.

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a bartender, with supervisory or team lead experience in a busy bar or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar operations. Natural leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for hospitality and high standards. Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
