Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen personnel. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to ensure quality standards are met. Manage the bar's inventory, order supplies, and ensure stock levels are maintained efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a friendly and professional environment. Organise staff schedules, supervise shifts, and manage team performance to optimise service delivery. Develop menus in collaboration with chefs or culinary staff, incorporating current trends and customer preferences. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Monitor sales performance, analyse financial reports, and implement strategies to maximise revenue. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies.

Skills



Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices. Experience in food safety standards and compliance regulations. Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations. Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers professionally. Knowledge of restaurant management software or point-of-sale systems is desirable. Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
