Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management, including ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of drink preparation techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay: 10.00-12.25 per hour
