Overview

At Marine North Berwick, We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar team Members to join our vibrant team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Guests, while creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes. Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service experience, taking orders and offering recommendations. Handle cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced till. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area for events or busy periods. Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred, training will be provided. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A valid personal licence or willingness to obtain one is advantageous. Knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation is a plus.
