The Lodge Bar & Dining based at The Littleover Lodge Hotel is nestled just on the outskirts of Littleover with easy transport access from Derby City Centre and all surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for a Fun, Energetic, Outgoing, Professional Person to join our Bar Team . The role requirements mean you be available for SOME weekend evenings Friday to Sunday with some weekday evenings availability required also.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate our till system correctly and proficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies and ingredients

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a catering, brewing, restaurant, or banquet setting is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
- A passion for the hospitality industry and providing exceptional service to customers

Experience within the role is desired but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
