Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of beverage service. As a Bartender, you will create an inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service, adhering to all legal requirements. Assist in managing inventory by tracking supplies, restocking as necessary, and reporting any discrepancies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage service. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience.
