We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team.

Strip steak bar is a fun and energetic new steak concept in Gloucester food docks . ideal candidates will be professional but maintain bags of personality and positive can do attitudes .

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant experience, with a passion for providing exceptional guest services. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment. Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Upsell drinks and food items to maximise sales opportunities. Monitor guest consumption levels and ensure responsible serving practices are followed. Take orders , wait on tables as required . Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Clean and maintain at all times all areas of the business as required Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant or bartending experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs. Excellent time management abilities to handle peak service times efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in upselling products to enhance customer experience is advantageous. Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
