As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring their satisfaction throughout the meal. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and serving. Assist in the kitchen as required, including food preparation tasks when necessary. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required. Strong understanding of food safety practices and standards. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services and relationship building. Experience in culinary or kitchen roles is advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team.
