Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management. Uphold high standards of customer service, demonstrating effective time management skills during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome individuals eager to learn. A background in hospitality will be advantageous, showcasing your ability to work in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with food safety practices is beneficial to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for serving customers effectively and creating a positive atmosphere. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing cash flow efficiently.
