We are seeking a proactive and energetic

Barback

to support our busy bar team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the bar area, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent service to our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in the food and beverage industry. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Restock bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service Assist bartenders in preparing ingredients and basic food items as required Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces Support in setting up and breaking down the bar at the start and end of shifts Ensure prompt removal of empty bottles and waste to keep the workspace tidy Respond courteously to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth service Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing Assist with general restaurant or hotel duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential Good communication skills with a friendly and professional manner Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities Previous experience such as barista work, serving roles, or hotel experience will be considered an advantage
