Bar Back -

Location:

Crowded House, Trinity Centre

Reports to:

Bar Manager

Role Overview:

As a Bar Back, you play a crucial support role, ensuring the bar runs smoothly during service. You'll work closely with bartenders to keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized, helping create a seamless guest experience. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that offers a great entry point into the bar tending world.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Bar Operations:

Keep the bar stocked with glassware, garnishes, ice etc Restock fridges, beer, and wine as needed to maintain efficient service. Restock and replenish bar items, including napkins, straws, and mixers. Assist with keg changes and gas canister replacements.

Cleanliness and Organization:

Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout each shift. Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and workstations. Remove empty bottles and bins to keep the bar clutter-free. Ensure the back bar is tidy and well-organized for efficient service.

Guest Support:

Provide friendly and attentive service, assisting guests when needed. Support bartenders in delivering a positive guest experience.

Other Tasks:

Assist with line cleaning and cellar maintenance if needed. Support bar staff during busy periods with bar backing duties. Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the bar manager.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
