Green & Fortune is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a barback to join our team at Rotunda Restaurant in Kings Place. Rotunda boasts seasonally-inspired, modern British food that features mouth-watering beef and lamb cuts from our own farm in Northumberland. An extensive wine list alongside our ever changing cocktail offering. With our on site butchers there is an abundance of knowledge to take in and grow in your career.


We are seeking individuals who thrive in a busy bar and restaurant environment. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for the industry. A friendly nature, a can-do attitude, and a keen eye for detail are also essential qualities we are looking for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

Assisting with Drink Preparation:

Helping bartenders with tasks like retrieving ingredients, preparing garnishes, and ensuring drinks are made efficiently.

Keg Management:

Changing kegs and ensuring proper temperature control for beer and other beverages.

Opening and Closing Duties:

Assisting with setting up the bar before opening and cleaning up after closing.

Restocking:

Keeping the bar area well-stocked with essential items like ice, glassware, garnishes, liquor, beer, and other supplies.

Cleaning:

Maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills, and emptying trash.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as a Barback in a similar setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
