Overview

We are seeking a proactive and energetic

Barback

to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support bartenders and the overall bar operation by ensuring a smooth and efficient service environment. Duties

Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glasses, garnishes, and beverages to ensure seamless service Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning glassware Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to management promptly Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to within the bar environment Help with setting up and clearing tables or counters during busy periods Provide excellent customer service by engaging politely with patrons when required Support the team during events or busy shifts to maintain high standards of service

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles such as barista or hotel staff is desirable Knowledge of food preparation and bar operations is beneficial Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Enthusiasm for working in a lively hospitality setting with a positive attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the business schedule A proactive approach with good organisational skills and reliability
