Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic bar back to join our latest Meraki Restaurant Group project.

A complete refurbishment of our Hamilton restaurant includes the arrival of the amazing

Vesper Bar

. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work in the fast paced hospitality industry and an interest in mixology. As a bar back, you will be responsible for maintaining and refilling stocks mid service, whilst operating to reload cocktail stations with there equipment. Duties will also include the full breakdown of the bar at the end of service to maintain the highest of cleanliness for the whole team. Additionally bussing and serving the tables within the Vesper Bar itself and ensuring your guests have an outstanding experience. Further development will be had in assisting with the preparation and creation of some of our more unique liquids under the tuition of our team mixologists.

Responsibilities

? Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.

? Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

? Engage with customers to provide recommendations.

? Restocking, and bar break down service

? Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

? Uphold high standards of customer service in line with the establishment's values.

? Liquid prep shifts

Requirements

? Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

? Able to follow and understand food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of guests.

? Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

? Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous.

? Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.

You should be available to work evenings and weekends. Pay rate of up to

12.21 per hour

plus gratuities, dependant on age and experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
