Summary

We are seeking a Barback/Junior Bartender to support bar operations, assist in preparing drinks, and maintain a clean and organised bar area. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hospitality and develop your skills in a lively and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with Drink Preparation:

Help prepare and serve drinks under the guidance of senior bartenders.

Customer Service Support:

Greet guests, take basic orders, and assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Keep the bar and surrounding areas clean and organised; wash glasses and utensils.

Stock and Supplies:

Help restock ingredients, mixers, and bar tools.

Support Operations:

Assist with opening and closing the bar, including setup and basic cleaning tasks.

Follow Safety and Hygiene:

Ensure all food and beverage handling procedures are followed.

Qualifications

Experience:

Previous hospitality or bar experience is a plus but not required--training will be provided.

Skills:

Willingness to learn, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and carry moderate loads.

Personality:

Friendly, approachable, and a team player.

Certifications:

Food safety or basic bar training is a plus but not mandatory.
