We are seeking a proactive and energetic

Barback

to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support bartenders by maintaining a well-stocked bar, ensuring cleanliness, and delivering excellent service to enhance the overall customer experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be available to work a mix of shifts Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Responsibilities

Restock bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and garnishes to ensure smooth service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces in accordance with food safety standards Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes and basic drink assembly as needed Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs promptly Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times Support the team in delivering exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest needs when required Handle waste disposal and organise storage areas efficiently to uphold hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately Strong organisational skills with excellent time management to prioritise tasks effectively Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively setting while maintaining professionalism and friendliness Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork are essential

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
