Responsibilities

Perform a variety of barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims, tailored to meet individual client preferences. Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert advice on hair care and maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques to provide clients with contemporary options. Assist in promoting salon services and products to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

Proven experience in barbering or hair styling is essential. Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with clients. A customer-focused attitude, demonstrating professionalism and friendliness at all times. Knowledge of current trends in men's grooming and hairstyling techniques is advantageous. A valid barbering qualification or certification is preferred but not mandatory for skilled individuals demonstrating relevant experience.
