The successful candidate will ensure the smooth supply of products to the bar, uphold excellent standards of cleanliness, and support the Bar Steward and team in delivering great service to our members.
This role involves
early morning work to accept brewery deliveries
and includes
evening and weekend shifts
, which are essential to meet the needs of the club.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation of the cellar, ensuring all products are stored, rotated, and maintained to the highest standards.
Receive, check, and store brewery and supplier deliveries.
Maintain stock levels, carry out regular stock checks, and assist with ordering.
Ensure correct line cleaning, equipment maintenance, and temperature control.
Work closely with the Bar Steward and staff to ensure efficient bar service.
Maintain health and safety, hygiene, and licensing compliance at all times.
Assist with setting up for functions, events, and club activities when required.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous
cellar management or bar experience
is essential.
Knowledge of cellar systems, beer line cleaning, and stock control.
Reliable, physically capable, and attentive to detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible and willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and event days.
Personal Licence Holder (advantageous but not essential).
Full Driving Licence preferred.
