Tiles bar is a busy city centre bar in a unique building on the corner of St Andrew square in Edinburgh. We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality drinks and freshly cooked food all delivered with fast, efficient and friendly service.

We are looking for a full time bar staff to join our front of house team.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in the hospitality industry or in a front facing customer service role.

Duties:

- Communicate with customers to take drink orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in the kitchen with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent guest services
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Deliver drinks to tables

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Basic maths skills for cash handling purposes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.80 per hour
