We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that food safety standards are met while maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to customer specifications.
Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to provide accurate information to customers.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving processes.
Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Handle customer orders accurately, including processing payments and managing cash registers.
Qualifications
Previous barista experience is required
Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
