Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will not only involve preparing coffee and other drinks but also handling transactions.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and counter area. Handle food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries. Manage cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for handling payments. Ensure all equipment is maintained properly and report any issues to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Experience in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Ability to help customers with a friendly attitude, fostering a positive experience. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
