Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista who is a Customer Service Representative champion to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist with inquiries related to food safety, menu items, and general customer concerns while ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders or inquiries. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during all interactions and food handling. Prepare and serve food items accurately, adhering to quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining high hygiene standards. Previous barista experience is advantageous, particularly in a fast-paced environment. Experience in serving customers and food preparation is highly desirable. Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting. A friendly and approachable demeanour to foster positive customer relationships.
