Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant stall at Boardmasters 2025!
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, as well as breakfast foods (bacon rolls etc), while adhering to food safety guidelines. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is essential. You must have one year's barista experience for this role. (Please do not apply to this role if this doesn't apply to you.) Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
