Job Description
We have a full-time opportunity for an energetic and outgoing person to join our team at The Remedy Cafe. The successful candidate must be over 18 years of age with a mature work ethic, the ability to work under pressure and within a small team.
Significant experience in coffee preparation and basic food prep is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- a strong focus on serving our quality locally-roasted coffee
- simple food preparation and service
- warm customer interaction
- general cafe duties eg cleaning, opening/closing procedures, cash handling
We are a very busy beachfront cafe with a regular customer base and a reputation for our friendly ambience.
This is a permanent FULL-TIME position of 35 hours over 5 days between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm.
We are open every day so one weekend shift will be expected as part of the candidate's working pattern.
