Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only making delicious coffee but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction Handle food preparation tasks as required, including baking pastries or preparing snacks Maintain inventory levels of supplies and assist in restocking as needed Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods Assist in training new staff members on barista techniques and customer service skills

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety practices is a must Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
