Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in training sessions to improve skills in beverage preparation and customer service.

Requirements

:

Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for coffee and customer satisfaction is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
