Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speciality Barista to join our weekend team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. A genuine desire to help customers and provide excellent service. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
