Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your role will involve ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and responding to inquiries. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques. Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 42 per week
